Quality Assurance Technician Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:00AM-2:30PM ORMonday-Thursday 2:00PM-12:00AM
• Pay Rate: $45,760-$58,240 Per Year
• Location: Bethlehem, PA 18018 Job Description:
  • Manage, approve, or reject all raw materials, packaging materials, labeling and finished products.
  • Monitor process controls (CCPs, Allergen Control, GMPs, Product Specifications) to ensure adherence to
    all food safety and quality programs.
  • Perform Pre-Operational Inspections as required (visual inspections, swabbing).
  • Perform sample collection and analysis for adherence to specification.
  • Troubleshoot and take appropriate action where necessary.
  • Review all production records for legibility, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Manage document control for production and quality records to ensure the most current procedure revisions are consistently utilized.
  • Lead and manage investigations and corrective actions as appropriate.
  • Engage in learning and working in other areas of production as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by the QA Supervisor Job Requirements:
    • Proficiency with data entry and basic computer skills required.
    • Must be able to lift at least 35lbs.
    • Ability to reach, pull, push, stop and bend frequently.
    • Ability to stand for approximately 80% of 12-hour shift.
    • Must be able to problem solve, show a high attention to detail and be very self-motivated
    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
    • High school diploma or equivalent GED certificat
    • Experience in food manufacturing facility preferred.
    • Experience in record keeping and data entry is a plus.
