A company is looking for a Payer Operations Coding
Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Communicate with patients to clarify insurance coverage and answer
billing-related questions
Perform coding using ICD-10 and work with billing companies on
claims validation
Manage reporting on claims operations using Excel and assist with
insurance verification
Required Qualifications
One year of experience in an administrative medical setting working
with patients
Knowledge of Medicare and Medicare Advantage Plans
Strong interpersonal skills
Highly organized
