  • Required experience in: abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, brain perfusion, CTAs, multiplanar reconstruction
    
  • BLS
  • AART
  • AART advanced cert
  • Preferred experience in: aspirations/biopsies, colography, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, transplant studies, PET/CT3/12s Friday-Sunday 7p-730aMin. 2 years experience, will accept 1st time travelerRequired Certs: BLS, AART, AART advanced certMust have MD LIC in hand prior to startPerforms cat scan procedures using prescribed techniques. Reviews requisitions to ensure completeness verifying patient name, diagnosis, description of requested exam, etc.; adjusts equipment and selects appropriate technical factors to produce proper radiographic exposure; utilizes standard positioning techniques to obtain an optimal diagnostic image. Selects appropriate protocol for each CT scan procedure; ensures proper levels of density and contrast are utilized to obtain and optimal quality image. Performs scanning procedures of various organs to localize site of pathological process. Complete examination in a timely manner, orders IV and oral contrast in powerchart. Documents administration of contrast and scans paperwork into Cerner.
