Job Description:

ManTech is seeking a Cloud Software Engineers to join our team in the Ft. Meade, MD area. In this role, you will develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse Big-Data cloud systems based upon documented requirements.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Design and develop software solutions using Kubernetes.
• -Collaborate with team members to determine best practices and client requirements for software.
• -Develop high-quality software design and architecture.
• -Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle.
• -Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code.
• -Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting.
• -Review and debug code.
• -Perform validation and verification testing.
• -Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products.
• -Document development phases and monitor systems.Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required Or 4 additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • 3 years of experience in software development/engineering in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Strong programming skills in one or more languages (e.g. Go, Python, Java)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps principles
  • Hands-on experience with container technologies (Docker, containerd) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Helm).Certification requirements:One or more of the following is required or must be able to obtain one:
    • AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate
    • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator
    • -AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional
    • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional
    • Certified Kubernetes Application Developer
    • Certified Kubernetes AdministratorClearance Requirements:
      • Must have current/active TS/SCI w PolygraphPhysical Requirements:
        • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
        • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
        • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
