seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Field Services Technician
(FST) to join our hardware and network team. In this role, you will
deploy hardware and network gear to sites across Continental United
States (CONUS). The hardware equipment includes thin clients,
printers, and phones. The network gear includes racks and Cisco
gear. Your expertise will be crucial in bringing sites online and
connecting to our larger enterprise systems, serving customers
around the US.Responsibilities will include:
Works with customer site
representatives to gather site specific requirements, such as
shipping procedures, network install procedures, and coordinate
schedules.Travel to sites across CONUS to install and configure
network and hardware gear.Provides Tier 2 and Tier 3 support to
service requests and trouble tickets to include Move, Add, and
change requests for the enterprise transport.Provides technical
consulting on high level network designs, platform sizing,
infrastructure system design and the application of new
technologies.Provide network administration support for
development, deployment, and problem identification and remediation
of the enterprise network environment.Collaborate with the extended
team to update network install plans and troubleshoot any issues,
providing expert guidance and support.Ensure our practices align
with industry standards and regulatory requirements.Maintain
regular communication with organization stakeholders for
collaboration, process optimization, tools tuning, and information
sharing.Work directly with our incident response team on security
issues and incidents.Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Computer
Sciences, Information Security, Information Systems, Engineering,
or related field or equivalent experienceDoD 8570.01 IAT/IAM level
2 certCertifications: Cisco Certified Network Administrator
(CCNA)6+ years of relevant experience with a strong background in
vulnerability management and security engineeringAbility to travel
to sites across CONUS.Able to work on-call nights and weekends if
needed to ensure transport availability or to meet service level
agreements (SLAs)Must be able to write and execute detailed network
implementations such as topology and rack elevation
diagrams.Provide written and in-person status to leadership.Respond
to system network, operations, and maintenance problems while off
duty, on an on-call basis.Demonstrated experience designing,
implementing, and maintaining Networking (Cisco technologies
preferred), and HP thin clientsAbility to work independently and as
part of a team.Strong communication and documentation
skillsUnderstanding of the complexity of technical or procedural
challenges and the potential outcomes, ensuring management is
appropriately informed.Self-motivated with strong interpersonal,
influencing, and problem-solving skillsPreferred Education,
Experience, & Skills
Active participation in information
security industry forums or other info security leadership
organizations.Certifications: CCIE and/or CISSP highly valued;
passed Implementing Cisco SD-WAN Solutions (300-415 ENSDWI)
Exam.Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $95106 - $161680Please
note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However,
individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors
including, but not limited to: business considerations, local
market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate
qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. Employee
