OverviewAnsible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is seeking a Microsoft (MS) Power Platform Developer to work with us in support of the United States Coast Guard and its National Maritime Center. The position is a local in-house position with telework opportunities in Martinsburg, WV.

• Design and develop within the Microsoft Power Platform suite of applications (Power BI, Apps, Portal, Automate, Dataverse).
• Design, code, and implement solutions using software engineering best practices.
• Complete various incoming SharePoint assignments.
• Assess and translate requests to best optimize the user experience, troubleshoot reported issues, and maintain the NMC MS SharePoint configuration using best practices.
• Build useful and informative Power BI dashboards for use by stakeholders in the NMC.
• Develop and ensure all solutions, package components and configurations migrate properly between new/established environments.
• Take part in data analysis, data best practices, database design, programming, and implementation.Qualifications
  • Microsoft Power Platform Certification may be substituted in lieu of the degree requirement.
  • Relevant experience may be substituted in other disciplines.
  • Knowledge of Power BI dashboard development.
  • Understanding of SharePoint and Teams site collection architecture, permission management, and creating front-end SharePoint apps and web pages.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders to determine requirements including NMC government oversight.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Access
  • Ability to research solutions to development issues when the answer is not clear.
  • Able to work in a Team environment.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
  • Bachelor's in information technology, Software Engineering, or related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of/background in basic statistical analysis methods is preferred.
