The assistant athletic trainer is responsible for the prevention of athletic injuries, the maintenance of the athlete's health and well-being, and the recuperation and rehabilitation following illness, injury, or surgery of all players.
Qualifications

Education/Qualification

• Master's degree required
• Certified as an Athletic Trainer (ATC) by the National Athletic Trainer's Association Board of Certification (NATABOC)
