Job Description:
We are seeking a Field Operations Team Leader for our
Transmission Lines Team.This role will provide leadership to our
Transmission Lines teams through effective management of resources,
finances, plant, and equipment to deliver maintenance, repairs,
construction, commissioning, and emergency response services on the
Transmission network.This role is based at our brand-new
state-of-the-art South Metro Depot in Forrestdale, conveniently
located next to Tonkin Highway. Spanning across 120,000 square
meters, the depot empowers all employees to create that perfect
work-life balance whilst operating in an inclusive and diverse
workplace.Your role
- Manage the efficient and effective use of resources, plant, and
equipment, to achieve both short- and long-term operational
cost-effective work program and work-stream deliverables and
KPIs.
- Provide operational leadership and ensure the right levels of
trained resources are available to meet operational needs.
- Accountable for a safe work environment and enhance employee
and contractor Occupational Health and Safety adherence.
- Accountable for ensuring allocated work and projects are
programmed to achieve deadlines through optimum use of resources to
achieve improved operational efficiencies.
- Provide technical guidance and coaching of teams to build
strong, direct relationships and internal skills.
- Manage assigned budgets and works programs.What makes you a
great fit?
- A relevant Trade Qualification or diploma/tertiary
qualification.
- Postgraduate qualification in project management, engineering,
or business discipline (Desirable not essential).
- 10 or more years' technical experience in a relevant area (e.g.
telecommunications, transmission, distribution, protection, or
fleet maintenance management).
- Five years' experience in a supervision role.
- Demonstrated capabilities in managing a diverse operational
workforce in multiple locations.
- Proven communication skills that enable effective interaction
between key stakeholders.
- A good understanding of risk and compliance management and its
application in the business.
- Available to participate on an on-call roster.By joining
