Coordinates the overall workflow of the department to ensure quality patient care, efficient and timely processes, and customer satisfaction. Demonstrates a thorough knowledge and understanding of radiation protection and safety principles and procedures. Demonstrates a thorough understanding of Imaging principles and techniques. Manages the overall operations of the section.Requirements:*Must have leadership experience*Certifications:- Basic Life Support upon start;- American Registered Radiologic Technologists Upon Start - Must be certified by at least one of the following: American Registered Radiologic Technologists or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or CNT or Cardiovascular Technology or Nuclear Medicine Technology or Registered Vascular Technology or Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists; as applicable with additional certification in an applicable imaging modality requiredLicensure:- Licensed Radiologic Technologist Upon Start State Licensure required for all INOVA non-Hospital Licensed centers, but not required if working onsite at an Inova Hospital and/or for Nuclear Medicine.Experience:- Three years of imaging experience in a hospital/healthcare environment with experience in an applicable imaging modality.Education:- Associate's Degree in Radiological Sciences or Graduate of an accredited school/program of Radiology or Nuclear Medicine with a valid certification.Inova Job ID #658687.
