Job Description:
A company is looking for a Director of Communications to lead
its communications efforts and enhance its visibility among key
stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy to
establish the organization's brand and messaging
Build and manage relationships with media outlets and create
communication materials to amplify the organization's work
Support fundraising efforts through targeted communication
materials and enhance the digital presence across various
channels
Required Qualifications
Passion for improving decision-making on complex issues
Experience managing press relations and familiarity with the U.S.
media landscape
Ability to write and edit clearly for diverse audiences
Strong judgment regarding audience perception of communications
Experience engaging with policy audiences and grantmakers is
preferred but not required
