Job Description:
A company is looking for a Government & External Affairs
Director in Louisiana.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary government relations representative in
assigned states, attending relevant meetings and events
Monitor legislative and regulatory issues, providing updates to
leadership and developing legislative strategies
Build relationships with key policymakers and coordinate with
communication teams to promote state-specific successes
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required
5+ years of experience in public policy or government relations,
particularly with the state legislature
Experience in lobbying at the state level
Strong knowledge of the health industry, insurance, and managed
care preferred
Knowledge of legislative processes for the assigned state(s)
