- Assist with fire modeling
- Assist with dynamic egress modeling
- Assist with the development of structural fire
calculations
- Assist with the development of fire safety strategies for
special hazards
- Contribute to the development of prescriptive and
performance-based design strategies.
- Provide consulting for life safety, building, and fire code
compliance
- Assist senior engineers to help clients to incorporate fire and
life safety strategy concepts into the design and review drawings
for conformance with the agreed strategy
- Assist with development of fire alarm, detection, and fire
suppression systems design documents
- Perform smoke control analysis
- Assist senior engineers on project site visits and communicate
with architects, contractors and consulting teams
- Participate in internal team meetings and external client
meetings
- Adapt to working with multiple teams, across multiple offices

you.QualificationsRequired:
- Bachelor's Degree in Fire Protection, Mechanical, Chemical or
Civil Engineering
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Skills in planning and organizing
- Attitude of taking initiative, enthusiasm, eagerness to
learn
- Candidate must be eligible to work in the United States without
the need for employer sponsored work authorization now or in the
future.

events.Washington DC Hiring Range - The good faith base salary
hiring range for this job if performed in Washington DC is $72,500
to $79,500 per year. This range is commensurate with experience,
educational background, and skill level. Benefits are not included
in the base salary. Please note hiring ranges for candidates
performing work outside of Washington DC will differ.Benefits that
