Based on performance during the summer session, and with the discretion of the leadership team, there is a possibility of extending the internship to part time during the school year.The Tax and Treasury Department at BAE Systems is looking for fast-moving accounting candidates who want to make an impact. The intern will work alongside accomplished professionals and gain valuable skills while supporting the day-to-day tax & treasury functions. Additionally, you will learn how we use various accounting applications and tools.The ideal intern should be able to perform the following:

• Perform basic tax research and analysis;
• Assist with cash management/treasury activities;
• Assist with completing estimated tax calculations;
• Review and respond to tax notices;
• Reconcile tax accounts;
• Perform any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.**We prefer a local candidate with flexibility to work remotely a few days a weekRequired Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Currently in the process of obtaining a bachelor's degree or graduate with a degree in Accounting, Finance or related degree;
  • Experience in using Excel;
  • Curious, self-driven, and analytical;
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced work environment;
  • Must be enrolled in a degree program during the timeframe of the internship. Graduates in May 2025 do not meet this requirement.Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $37729 - $50985Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.Temporary employees generally are not eligible for BAE Systems benefits, but can elect to participate in the 401(k) savings plan.
